Legal Disclaimer

The Baking Room 305 provides the following terms and conditions as a general guide for our customers. It is important to note that these terms and conditions are subject to change and may differ based on specific orders and services. We strongly advise seeking legal advice to ensure your specific needs are addressed in our terms and conditions.

Deposits and Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order value is required to secure your booking. The deposit must be paid within 48 hours of receiving the invoice.
The remaining 50% balance is due 7 days before pick-up or delivery date.
Failure to pay the final balance on time may result in cancellation of your order. In such cases, the deposit will be forfeited.
We accept payments via PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.

Pick-Up and Delivery

Pick-Up: All orders must be picked up at the designated time and date from our address. Please arrive on time.
Delivery: Delivery is available for an additional fee, based on distance. Please inquire about delivery availability and pricing when placing your order. We are not responsible for any damages that occur after the product has been delivered.

Buttercream Rules

Heat Sensitivity: All of our buttercream products are extremely sensitive to heat. It is your responsibility to ensure the product is kept cool and away from direct sunlight or heat sources at all times.
Transportation: When transporting your order, please ensure it is placed on a flat surface, such as the floor of the car or the trunk. Do not place it on a seat, as this can cause the cake to slide and become damaged.
Storage: Upon arrival at your destination, please store the cake in a cool, air-conditioned room or in a refrigerator until a few hours before serving.

Product Care and Handling

We are not responsible for any damages that occur to the product once it has been picked up or delivered.
Please handle all products with care. Cakes and other baked goods can be delicate and require careful handling.
For best results, consume all products within 3 days of pick-up or delivery.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the pick-up or delivery date will forfeit the deposit but will not be charged the final balance.
Cancellations made within 4 days of the pick-up or delivery date will result in the forfeiture of the entire order amount (deposit and final payment).
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your order, a full refund will be issued.

Allergies

Our kitchen handles common allergens, including nuts, dairy, and gluten. While we take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free of allergens. Please inform us of any allergies when placing your order.

Rush Orders

We understand that sometimes you need an order in a hurry! Orders placed within 4 days of the desired pick-up or delivery date are considered rush orders. These orders are subject to a 10% rush fee to account for the expedited time and resources required to fulfill the request. This fee will be added to your final invoice. Please note that we cannot always accommodate rush orders and availability is not guaranteed.

Design and Decor Policy

We love bringing your creative visions to life! We will do our best to match any provided inspiration photos, but we cannot guarantee an exact replica. All of our baked goods are handcrafted, and slight variations in color, design, and style are to be expected.
Design Revisions: You are entitled to one round of minor design revisions after the initial consultation. Any additional or major changes to the design after this point may incur an additional fee.
Creative License: We reserve the right to use our creative discretion to ensure the final product is stable and beautifully finished.

Photo Release and Marketing Policy

We're proud of our work and love to share it! By placing an order with us, you grant Baking Room 305 permission to photograph your finished product. These images may be used for marketing and promotional purposes on our website, social media, and other business materials. We will not share any personal information (such as your name or event location) without your explicit consent.
